8x8 handmade album

Here is an 8x8 album I made from scratch. I took some dark gryish-bluish cardstock and spraypainted it gold. I still haven't decided what to write on the cover, I might just write memories as that leaves it pretty much open to anything. Alomost everything here is homemade, except for the ribbon and trimmings and some of the gold flowers. I used wrapping paper for all the other paper usedin the album. I made the flowers on the brown tags out of paper, they really came out nice. I haven't decorated the brown tags yet, still haven'tdecided what to do with them. a lot of the pages are really in pockets but I took them out for the pictures. Maybe I'll try to make a youtube video so you can really see what the album looks like and how it works. Not sure I'll have the patients and time to do that though...

 
הנה שהכנתי. אני ממש שמחה איך שיצא, חבל רק שהתמונות לא הכי מוצלחות. אני לקחתי בריסטול אפור וצבעתי אותו עם ספרי זהב. עדיין לא הכחלטתי מהלכתוב על הכריכה. כמעט הכל הוא עבודת יד, קניתי רק את הסרטים וכמה פרחים. הפרחים שבטגיות החומות הם דווקא עבודת יד שהכנתי מניירות, ממש יפות, עוד לא החלטתי איך לקשט את הטגיות. כמה עמודים הם ברמת אמורים להיות בתוך כיסים שיש בדף, אבל לצורך התמונה הוצאתי אותם. יכול להיות שאני ינסה להכין סרט ב

Upshern Album

Here is a preview of the upshern album I started making for my nephew. Upshern is a jewish custom where 3 year old boys get their hair cut for the first time.

spray paint

today I had a spray painting day. got tons of papers spray painted in all different colors and combinations. Some came out nicer than others of course. Some  I will use to make full albums, some will just be for  double page layouts. I also made some embellishments to match. Can't wait to see what I am going to make with these. I already started some stuff, I'll post pictures of those later.

large mini album

heres another mini album I made using instruction from the followingthepapertrail blog. Not sure why I made this one as I have nothing to do with it :) but it looked like fun... its pretty big to be called a mini but it still only has 6 pages, so I guess it is. It has lots of tages and pockets etc. so its kind of hard to see all that in the pictures...

glass works

Finally got my camera back. I had left it in the states during my last trip :(
