DIY Placemats

I got this really nice Punch around the page while I was in america last. Its a really pretty ,but it does NOT punch well on cardstock...
I took double sided card stock and cut different variations. they all match but each is slightly different. I then had them laminated.
This is a VERY easy project, just time consuming with all that punching....

The Vanity

I finally finished this project I started ages ago.
I haven't done much crafting since my grandmother passed away in September. I guess I haven't really been in the mood. Maybe finishing this project will get me "going" again.
When I made this project months ago I didnt like how it came out, so now I redid the back and the mini album and I am a little bit happier with the results.

I made this using instructions from this blog: http://paperphenomenon.com

The tutorial is called Vanity and you can find it here: http://shop.paperphenomenon.com/Vanity-007.htm

I changed some things from the tutorial - just to make it a little but more my style :)

I know I don't usually post video's but this is for a contest! So everyone can go to her blog and vote for my project! Thanks!

The contest is called: Phenomenon Win Big, Kit Club Membership Contest

You can vote for my project here: http://paperphenomenon.com/contest/

Jewelry Making with my Slice and Shrinky Dinks

Yes, I am going back to my childhood. I remember in 1st grade making projects with Shrinky Dinks, dont remember what we made, but it was nothing worth talking about.

Sooo...
I decided to try something new. I cut shapes using my slice, colored them, baked them, added beads and finished!

Here are two things I made:

oatmeal cans and broken crayons

I made these for my nephews using epty ans of oatmeal and broken peies of crayons (you know, the ones none of the kids want to use anymore, even though they color perfectly fine...)

I decorated the cans using paper and my slice

I put all the broken peices of crayons in a upcake pan and baked them with peices the same shade
