8x8 handmade album

Here is an 8x8 album I made from scratch. I took some dark gryish-bluish cardstock and spraypainted it gold. I still haven't decided what to write on the cover, I might just write memories as that leaves it pretty much open to anything. Alomost everything here is homemade, except for the ribbon and trimmings and some of the gold flowers. I used wrapping paper for all the other paper usedin the album. I made the flowers on the brown tags out of paper, they really came out nice. I haven't decorated the brown tags yet, still haven'tdecided what to do with them. a lot of the pages are really in pockets but I took them out for the pictures. Maybe I'll try to make a youtube video so you can really see what the album looks like and how it works. Not sure I'll have the patients and time to do that though...

 
הנה שהכנתי. אני ממש שמחה איך שיצא, חבל רק שהתמונות לא הכי מוצלחות. אני לקחתי בריסטול אפור וצבעתי אותו עם ספרי זהב. עדיין לא הכחלטתי מהלכתוב על הכריכה. כמעט הכל הוא עבודת יד, קניתי רק את הסרטים וכמה פרחים. הפרחים שבטגיות החומות הם דווקא עבודת יד שהכנתי מניירות, ממש יפות, עוד לא החלטתי איך לקשט את הטגיות. כמה עמודים הם ברמת אמורים להיות בתוך כיסים שיש בדף, אבל לצורך התמונה הוצאתי אותם. יכול להיות שאני ינסה להכין סרט ב

spray paint

today I had a spray painting day. got tons of papers spray painted in all different colors and combinations. Some came out nicer than others of course. Some  I will use to make full albums, some will just be for  double page layouts. I also made some embellishments to match. Can't wait to see what I am going to make with these. I already started some stuff, I'll post pictures of those later.

Lace Mini's - trip

I just finished making this pretty mini album, I really liked how it came out! I made this using instructions from a blog called followingThePaperTrail, they have some AMAZING ideas there.
I think this is the first time I have made a mini album and I decided what I am going to use it for before I even finished! I decided this would be a nice mini album from my last trip to the states. I didnt take to many pictures but I have a lot to write, so I think this will be perfect. So far I have just did the cover, I will post pictures when I totally finish it.

I didn't take pictures of every page, but you get the point. You cant really see put all the pages open up and ther are tags that slide out from behind every other page, and cards inside the pocket pages. Very complicated to picture!

dollhouse בית בובות

for awhile people have been asking me to post pictures of my dollhouse, but I wantd to wait till I finish it. Weeelllll, at the rate I am going, that might be awhile, so I figured I would share with you the half that is done.
This dollhouse is made out of cardboard - but is still very strong! it comes in to parts, this is only half the house, there is another half just like this one that they close toether to make one big house. I decorated the rooms using scrapbook paper, wrapping paper and ribbons. I also plan on making furniture, but that is way in the future.
הנה בית בובות שהתחלתי להכין, זה רק חצי, יש שני חצאים כאלו שנסגרים יחד להיות בית אחר גדול. הבית עשוי כולו מקרטון - אבל הוא מאוד חזק. קישטתי את הבית עם נירות עטיפה, נייר לעיצוב אלבומים וסרטים. אני מתכוונת יום אחד להכין גם רהיטים וכו', אבל נראה מתי זה יהיה...
